OBDSTAR FCA 12+8 Universal Adapter
All 2018+ FCA vehicles are equipped with the security gateway module (SGW) to prevent attacks on the vehicle network through the CAN bus. It prevents access to the vehicle from the OBDII port through non-original diagnostics, so regular communication cannot be established by directly plugging in the OBDII-16 connector.
For this problem, you can connect to the 12-PIN and 8-PIN connections on the car through this FCA 12 + 8 cable to help establish normal communication.

How to use the FCA 12+8 Cable:
- Find and unplug the 12-PIN and 8-PIN connectors of the SGW module.
- Connect the FCA 12+8 cable directly to the 12-PIN and 8-PIN connector on the car (connecting to the two connectors of the SGW). At this time, normal communication with the car can be realized.
